When it starts
The warranty starts when the car is delivered to its first buyer or lessee. Powertrain coverage is part of the 4-year/50,000-mile warranty, not a separate plan.
Lease vs. keep
A lease usually fits inside the factory coverage. A long loan doesn't: after year four, repairs are on you unless you add a vehicle service contract, which runs 7 years or 100,000 miles. Audi Care Select can extend maintenance if you keep the car longer.
