Audi Certified Pre-Owned: what you actually get
A pre-owned Audi that Audi has inspected and backs with extra coverage. Here are the rules.
Certified Pre-Owned is one of the smartest ways into an Audi for drivers in Louisiana and in Baton Rouge, usually for a lower payment than new.
Quick answerCPO Audis are generally five model years or newer with no more than 60,000 miles, pass an inspection of more than 125 components, and add one extra year or 20,000 miles of coverage after the original warranty ends.
The inspection
Audi-trained technicians check the interior, exterior, engine compartment and underbody, plus a road test. Look for Certified Pre-Owned on the window sticker.
The coverage
The Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty adds 1 year or 20,000 miles after the original 4-year/50,000-mile warranty ends, or from the day you buy if that warranty is already over. Covered repairs are free at authorized Audi dealers nationwide. The high-voltage battery isn't covered by the Certified warranty, and for sales on or after August 1, 2023, the warranty is for the original Certified purchaser only.
